Delete your Muster account

This page is for people with an account in the Muster app (com.tolytech.musterfield on iOS and Android), published by Tolytech LLC.

Delete it in the app

1. Open Muster and go to Profile.
2. Tap Delete my account, type DELETE to confirm, and tap Delete account.

Your account is deleted straight away and you are signed out. If you are your organization's only administrator, make someone else an administrator first.

An administrator of your organization can also remove you from its dashboard, with the same result.

If you can no longer sign in:

1. Email hello@muster-volunteer.com from the email address you sign in with, with the subject "Delete my Muster account". Say which organization you belong to.
2. We confirm the request with you, and let your organization's administrators know.
3. Your account is deleted within 30 days, and we email you when it is done.

What is deleted

• Your sign-in: email address and password.
• Your profile: name, phone number, job title, callsign, team, team leader and profile photo. If you led a team, it is left without a lead, and anyone who reported to you no longer has you as their leader.
• Your devices' push notification tokens, your notification inbox and your place in chats.
• Your personal notes, your upcoming shifts, your likes and blocks, and forms you started but never sent.

What your organization may keep

Tasks, reports, comments, board posts, chat messages, sent forms and the photos attached to them are part of your organization's record of its work. They may be kept after your account is deleted, shown as written by "Former member" instead of your name. Tasks you were working on go back to your organization to hand to someone else. If you want any of them removed as well, say so in your email and we will pass the request to your organization, which decides.

Deleted information can stay in backups for a short time until they expire.
